Each Laid-Back Susan is handcrafted from maple ply and wormy chestnut in a chevron pattern in our woodworking shop and designed to be both a functional serving piece and a beautiful centerpiece for your kitchen or dining table.
The pairing of Maple for its clean, light natural grain and Wormy Chestnut for a warmer, rustic look filled with the character and natural markings that make every piece unique.

We call ours the Laid-Back Susan because we're based in a laid-back Florida beach town, and we wanted this piece to reflect the same simple, relaxed approach to gathering around the table.
Use it for condiments at family dinners, serving appetizers and charcuterie, organizing countertop essentials, or simply as a natural wood centerpiece.
Because these are made from real wood, variations in color, grain, knots, worm holes and other natural characteristics are expected and are part of what makes each piece unique.
CARE
Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth and dry promptly.
Do not place in the dishwasher or submerge in water.
As with other naturally oiled wood products, the surface can be periodically refreshed with an appropriate cutting board oil or wood conditioner to maintain its appearance.
